TA Army Recruitment 2024 Education Qualification
- (a) Soldier (General Duty)- For this post, the candidate must have passed class 10th/Matriculation with minimum 45% marks in aggregate and 33% marks in each subject.
- (b) Soldier (Clerk)- For this post, the candidate must have passed 10+2/Intermediate examination with minimum 60% marks in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) and minimum 50% marks in each subject.
- (c) Soldier Tradesman (All Tradesmen except House Keeper and Mess Keeper)- (i) For this post, the candidate must have passed class 10th. (ii) For this post, there is no requirement in aggregate percentage, but the candidate must have obtained minimum 33% marks in each subject.
- (d) Soldier Tradesman (House Keeper and Mess Keeper)- (i) For this post, the candidate must have passed class 8th. (ii) There is no requirement of aggregate percentage for this post but candidate must have obtained minimum 33% marks in each subject.
TA Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
- Physical Standards – It includes three processes, height, chest and weight. The minimum height of the candidate must be 157 cms and chest size 82 cms.
- Relaxation in Physical Standards – (a) Sons of servicemen, ex-servicemen, war widows and widows of ex-servicemen, adopted son/son-in-law of war widow, if they have no son then 02 cm height, 02 kg weight, 01 cm chest (b) Outstanding Sportsmen (International, National and State level) 03 cm height, 03 kg weight, 03 cm chest
