Yantra India Limited Apprentice Recruitment 2024 Post Details
- Candidates can choose only one of the Ordnance and Ordnance Equipment Factories mentioned in Annexure-I where the applicant wishes to undergo trade apprenticeship training.
- The vacancies are enclosed as Annexure-1. However, the number of vacancies notified is provisional.
- Important information for all candidates is that the vacancies in the trades available in the respective Ordnance Factories for ex-ITI candidates are also mentioned in Annexure-I. Ex-ITI candidates can apply only for specified trades, i.e. trades which are compatible with the trade in which the candidate has undergone training in ITI.

YIL Apprentice Bharti 2024 Education Qualification
For Non-ITI Category – Should have passed Secondary (Class 10 or equivalent) with minimum 50% marks (as per original mark sheet) as on last date of application and minimum 40% marks in Mathematics and Science as per norms of the respective board.
For ITI Category – 1. Must have passed the relevant trade test for the duration as per the Trade Apprentices Act 1961 from any institute recognized by NCVT or SCVT or any other authority specified through Gazette Notification of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship/ Ministry of Labour and Employment and must have minimum 50% marks in ITI examination. Selection of relevant trades to be considered will be done strictly on the basis of Schedule I of the Apprentices Act 1961, its amendments and vacancies available in Ordnance and Ordnance Equipment Factories.
- Also, the candidate must have passed Secondary/ Class X or equivalent (minimum 50% marks in Matriculate/ Class X).
YIL Apprentice Recruitment 2024 MODE OF SELECTION
The selection will be based on the merit and choice of Ordnance Factory submitted by the candidate. Separate merit lists will be prepared for Non-ITI and Ex-ITI categories. The merit list for Non-ITI category will be prepared factory-wise based on overall percentage of marks in Madhyamik or Matriculation, aggregate marks in all subjects or best of 5 subjects as per the norms of the respective 10th Board as entered by the candidate in the online application form. The candidate will have to submit the original mark sheet of Madhyamik Board. For Non-ITI category, factory-wise common merit list will be prepared and trades will be allotted on merit-cum-choice basis by each factory after selection. In case of CGPA/GPA grading obtained by the candidate, the marks (not CGPA grading) should be entered by ensuring conversion as per the candidate’s 10th class board norms (if the candidate enters the correct CGPA grade incorrectly, it will be converted to percentage by standard multiplication. Hence, proper caution should be taken by candidates who do not have clear instructions from the respective 10th board.
